When it fills water rises above this point pouring out on the floor, is it possible to plug this hole or will that cause problems further down the line ? There is a leak in the bottom of the dishwasher, and you will need to remove the side panels and find the leak in the bottom to fix the water problem. The machine will go into pump out mode instead of bringing in water, if there is water in the bottom of the machine. Hope this helps. It just sits there and keeps pumping water out, its as if the water will not shut off and the pump keeps turning on and off to keep up with the water flow.
