Hi Bruce. Remove the front panel. Make sure the float stem goes up and down freely. It can get clogged with debris. Make sure that is operates the float switch lever without getting cocked off to one side and not operating it. This is a common failure. Usually the switch mount cover is not fully latched and opens allowing the stem to slide out. Float switch part # AP2802390. It controls the power to the water valve part # AP3783031. Use a volt/ohm meter part # AP3440648 to ohm the water valve windings for resistance of 1000 ohms. If open then replace it. make sure that the supply line is sending full water pressure. Or the water valve inlet screen is clogged. Thank You.

Hello Greg. No you wont have to remove the unit , if you remove the toe panel , you should be able to get to the valve AP3783031 the best advice that I can give you on hooking the line back up is to replace the existing one if it is copper with the new style AP3159418 flex line this will make it a breeze, the old copper lines will not bend easily and you almost never get the elbow that is in the end of the valve exactly like the old one, plus the line comes with a new elbow, Thank you and good luck !

Hello. If there is no water coming to the machine, this could cause that problem. You can test to see if there is power coming to the valve. If there is power there, but no water, then you will need to replace the valve. Hope this helps.

Hello B. If the unit is off, and the water is clear, and it fills on it's own, you will need to replace the water valve AP3783031. The only way to test it is to remove the hose from it and see if it leaks. Hope this helps.
