I just had to write about how happy I am with your service and I haven't even received the item I ordered yet! I received a very quick response to my question about why the glass in my oven door shattered.
I then received a price on a new one and the link, which took me directly to the part I needed! It was so easy. Still, I was a little leery about doing any repairs myself. I wrote back and asked if the part came with installation instructions. I received a wonderful letter back from Roman, which stated that the part did not come with installation instructions, but he very specifically wrote and emailed me the instructions on how to install the glass in the door. At that moment, I went straight back to the site to order the part. I will give it a whirl, because I know if I have any trouble, Roman will be there to help me.
Sincerely,
Jennifer M.

Questions & Answers

Robert, the complete icemaker add on kit used on your Kenmore model 106.63182302 is part number AP3122341. Thanks!

Hello Greg, I would check the water pressure to the unit first. The reason is that the water valve has no springs inside it to close it. It is closed by water pressure alone. A lack of sufficient water pressure will cause the valve to close slowly and sometimes never close all of the way at all. If you remove the water line from the back of the unit and find good pressure, the next step is to replace the water valve AP3103466. If you want to save some money, you could go ahead and order the ice maker kit AP3062348 which also includes the water valve. This should take care of it for you.

Thank You Lee for your response. It seems as if your model # came equipped with the adapter plug used in that particular series of you model and similar ones like yours. The manufacture used a certain water valve then that its terminals needed this said adapter. Thank You .

Hi Lee. All you should need to do is to use the correct wiring harness for your ice maker. You can unhook it from the ice maker itself by releasing the single center clip on the side of the ice maker. This is a universal kit to adapt for your model given. Ice maker kit part # AP3062348. Thank You.

Gerald, If you operated the fridge foe an extended period of time, with the poor water pressue, you may have damaged the solenoid on the water valve. Also check and flush the water supply line, if you didn't already, and check to make sure you didn't loosen the wires on the solenoids by accident. Good Luck and Thanks
