We ordered a replacement belt for our Bosch WFR 2460 UC/13 washer serial number FD 8611 700655. The belt we received is Bosch part number 439490 which is supposedly the correct part. It is so tight it will not roll on to the pulleys.
The new belt 439490 has these numbers on the belt itself: BSH 5550 010 349 5PJE 1255
The old belt has these numbers: BSH 5500 002 576 5PJE 1255 and it is approximately 1 ½ inches longer than the new belt. Obviously the numbers in the middle are different on the two belts. I know they stretch with time but the old belt stretched on with a little effort. The new belt is so tight I can’t get it half way around the drum pulley and am afraid to break it.
Can you tell me the difference in the two belts?
ANSWER Hello Bill! Belt part number 00439490 is the manufactured replacement for your model WFR2460UC/13. Unfortunately, we do not have the specs available to advise a difference in the original and replacement belts. The belt will be a tight fit. You need to roll it onto the large pulley, it will not break. Thanks!
