Part #298594 (upper spray arm) came with a coupling for the feeding tube. Instructions say the coupling has to be exchanged.
Is this really necessary? If so, how do you get the old coupling off without breaking anything. We tried to get it off and got nowhere using the diagram that was enclosed with the part.
ANSWER Hello ERC. The coupling unsnaps from the unit. If you can use the old coupling, and it is not damaged, it should be fine. If the spray arm 298594 is not working properly with the old coupling, you will need to install the new one.
