Unit works occasionally but will end reverting back to either not running or getting stuck in the last cycle and running all night until I turn it off. I call a tech and he found water in the bottom tub below the pumps. The tech thought it may run after we remove the water or it may be a bad Circulation Pump. I removed the Drain Pump and it appears to be ok. Tested i with a meter. After drying the unit again and running the DW, I noticed water entering the lower cavity from the Circulation Pump. I assume its the Circulation Pump that is bad. Do you think installing a Circulation Pump Repair Kit will correct the problem? I assume the water is leaking due to warn gaskets.
ANSWER Hello Kerry,
Yes this circulation pump repair kit will work to repair your pump. You may also want to check to see if leak is else where before trying to install the repair kit. Pull the water valve off still leaving connected and using a flashlight with unit filliing with water check to see if there is splashing or dripping. If you see splashing or dripping coming from tub on the side where the water hose goes up then you would need a new water valve.
