My Bosch dishwasher stopped working in the middle of a wash cycle. Now the controls don't work (indicator lights don't come on) and the machine won't start. Checked the main breaker panel and no breakers are tripped. I'm thinking that the main control module went bad. Is this the likely cause? If I purchase the replacement part from you and this turns out not to be the problem, can I return the part?
ANSWER Hello Paul,
First remove the kick panel and check in the electrical connection box down there for melted wire nuts. If they look good, you need to check the power switch for continuity when it is in the on position. If it tests good, next check the door switch. If all this checks good, the board has most likely failed. If you order the part and install it, you can still return it with in 365 days by simply calling for a return authorization. Let us know if you require further assistance.
