My dishwasher has a problem similar to one already mentioned in this thread. My dishwasher seems to run fine until it reaches the rinse and drain cycle, right at the end. When the timer says it only has few more minutes to run (say 7 minutes), it suddenly jumps to 25 or so. It eventually goes back down to 1 minute left, but then it seems to get stuck there forever. I need to manually rinse and drain every time.
Is this an indication the control module is bad? What part number do I need to get for my dishwasher?

ANSWER Ovidiu, The fluctuating time display is usually due to a weak or damaged circuit in the control module 266746, You'll need to remove the lower access panel, and water valve, and use an inspection mirror and check for water, accumulated on the base of the dishwasher, or a "stuck" flood switch and lever 263123,165301. If the float or lever is stuck or theres water in the base of the dishwasher, the dishwasher will continue to run and drain, and stall the display at the 1 minute mark.
