It looks like your part has a different wire connection than my original part but I belive your part is the one I need. Is that what you mean by needing a jumper?

When you remove the old board, as a general rule, if it has a jumper, it will be necessary for the new board to operate properly. If the old board doesn't have a jumper, it is usually not needed for the model in question. I was able to find a note in a parts listing that shows that "SHU53 needs coding plug (jumper) 167782 sold separately". You should read the instruction sheet for the part closely to determine if your model specifically needs it or not.
