I just replaced the water inlet valve (part number 425485) for my Bosch Dishwasher (Model number SHU9955). When I turned my dishwasher back on the dran pump just runs and runs. I cannot turn it off. Any idea as to why this is happening? I have not had any trouble with the drain pump. I was not getting any water into the tub so I thought I should replace the water inlet valve. Now I just have a drain pump that won't stop running.

ANSWER Kyle, You'll need to check the base of the dishwasher for water accumulated on the base, (You'll need to remove the water valve and use a mirror to check). and check and make sure the "flood switch" or float are not "stuck" 165301. If these components stick or there's water in the base of the machine, due to a leak or spillage The control interprets that as a flood situation and the drain pump runs to reduce the possibility of a "flood".
