Bosch Model # HGS5052UC convection range/oven When I bake something at normal baking cycle, it takes much longer than it should. I have to bake everything on convection baking to make sure that things bake in the right amount of time. We have raised the temperture offset setting and that doesn't seem to help. Could this possibly be the temperture sensor probe or the temperture sensor regulator problem? Or should the door seal be replaced?
ANSWER Hello Ruth,
You will want to check your oven sensor 00422089 to see what the resistance is. The reading for resistance should be 1090 ohms at room temperature. If this is not correct then you would want to replace oven sensor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
