We have a 1999 Thermador double convection oven with microwave. I am ordering a bake element as the upper one had a flame out recently but about 3 months ago the microwave ceased to function. Our history with microwaves is simply replacing the fuse has fixed all 3 of them. Is this the correct fuse for the microwave portion and is it worth trying this as a first elimination? Thank you very much.

ANSWER Shane, You're on track, Yes repalcing the fuse would be a good place to start, for a microwave that is inoperable. You may even want to have a couple of fuses, extra. The fuse could have opened due to age, a voltage spike or something similar. or something as simple as slamming the door.
