Is there an install kit that comes with this unit, glue and instructions. Thanks
ANSWER Hi Blaine. This top is glued to the mounting brackets from the factory needed to replace it. Part # 00187294. Since this is a cook top, it is more time consuming then difficult. You first remove the power. Protect the counter top and lift it up and out of the hole. Carefully set it kitty-corner from the opening on the covered counter top. Then remove the top mount side screws that hold the top down. Remove the top knobs and lay them to the side noting exact replacement per burner. Then you need to lift up on the top and carefully make sure the boards and switch placements are properly left intact and centered in place. This should be a simple on/ off replacement type. NOTE- most breakages can occur when something from above falls down upon it. Move all heavy items from the direct line of shattering the expensive glass. Next flip the cooking pans upside down & Use a torpedo level under the cook ware bottom. If you see a air gap under the pans then remember this traps the surface burner heat which in turn cycles the infinite switch and burner sensor erratically on /Off. All smooth top glass uses no cast iron pans also. Thank You.
