I just read the question regarding the cleaning and using the griddle after it was burned. I also just burned the griddle accidently and have cleaned and oiled it according to the directions in the users guide. I just am very concerned as the users manual states several times not to heat the griddle past 6 on the temperature knob or the non stick surface will be damaged. Two questions: Is the griddle safe to use now and do you think the non stick surface has been damaged.
Normally when the non stick surface is damaged there will be visible signs. By cleaning this should be ok to use.
