Thermador secondary drip pans are not made of heavy metal steel. They are very light compared to my old ones. What are they made of? I had a difficult time cleaning the old ones from burnt on, and rust. I used Soap and Water, CLR, Simple Green, and SOS Pads. I think I ruined the finish on the old ones. That is why I bought new ones. How do I clean these light weight new ones in the future? Thank you for your prompt service 1 of 2 packages.
ANSWER Hello Ruth! Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide the information as to what their parts are made out of. You can clean the pan with warm water and soap. You can also use soft scrub or a product called bar keepers friend. Once there is a spill over on the product the manufacturer suggests that it be cleaned once the unit is not in use. Thanks.
