I have a Thermador Range that keeps having a problem with the oven igniter. It has been replaced twice in the 5 years we have owned the range, but the last time it only lasted about 6 months. Could there be another problem besides the igniter? I need to replace it again.

ANSWER Hi. When you replace the oven igniter part # 627375 repack the surrounding hole left open where it passes from the inside cavity to the outside area. This allows the oven heat to escape and burn out the igniter prematurely. Thank You.
