The machine (Bosch SHU9955UC) is dead I suspect it was due to voltage spike during the last storm. Not sure there is a fuse or any kind of protection against overvoltage, but I tested the main on/off switch (i believe is similar do the 175338, but Bosch's p/n is 280501 or Dreefs 4783/12) for continuity and the switch seems to be working in 5 of the 6 blades. The now open wire feeds into the control board. I hope you can help me answer the following questions:
- is this switch also responsible for protection of the machine & control board ?
- since 5 blades in the connector are working do you see any problem in inserting a jumper in connector ?
- Where can I find a datasheet for the switch ?
- Where can I find a circuit diagram of this machine ?
Thank you in advance for your help.
ANSWER Hello Becker. If you turn on the switch, and it does not close to send power to the control board, you will need to replace the switch 00175338 on the unit.
