The front left XLO burner will not light. No gas is detected when burner is turned on. Spark does work, but seems erratic. Last year I replaced a control unit ($110 ??), which solved the problem at the time but the LF XLO refuses to light. I tried switching the switch wires from the LR XLO burner to the LF, but it did not help. Suggestions?
ANSWER Tom, You will need to test and or replace the potentiometer 00497246 and the gas tube solenoid 00423022. If either is faulty, there will be no gas allowed to the burner assembly, and it won't ignite, even though the spark igniter works.
