I had a tech out and he said I need a relay board and the top broil element. I can see the broil element is bad but I question whether the relay board is bad. The oven will only heat up to 200 degrees. He first said it was because the brioler and bake portion work in tandem. I am not a expert but that didn't make sense to me. The next thing he did was check the voltage on the broiler element and the bake element. The broiler was at 243 volts and the bake element was at 124 volts. He then determined the mother board was bad. Does this sound right or could it be the temp sensor or something else?
If the bake element is only getting 124 vac then it is very possible for the only problem to be the relay board. The motor would not have anything to do with the bake element not getting proper voltage.
