I have checked thermostat #163297 and it shows no continuity. Your previous advice said it should read 21 ohms at room temperature. I am not getting any ohm reading on this thermostat. Is it bad? The dryer is heating but leaves clothes damp? Thanks!

ANSWER Hi. The thermostat 163297 should read around 21 ohms at room temperature. Yes it needs to be changed. Clean the entire vent system and repair any kinks. Clean the outside vent cap assy. so it opens and closes well. Thank You.
