My soap dispenser does not operate - the door doesn't open during the wash cycle. It's mentioned to measure the voltage to the unit, but I don't see what the reading should be (AC or DC, 5v, 12v?). I also need to know if it is a momentary reading, or if it comes on and stays on for the remainder of the wash, or just that cycle? Finally, which of the two yellow wires should be measured? Is one hot and the other ground? Looking at the circuit diagram, it looks like they're both hot. Thanks.
ANSWER Hello Jim,
Checked out the wiring information on this unit but it does not state what the voltage should be. It also states that you cannot check resistance on the dispenser sensors. You will want to start on an AC voltage and check across the 2 yellow wires when the unit calls for dispenser to open. If you do not get voltage reading then switch to DC voltage.
