1. I am planning on replacing the drip trays and it appears I need to remove the burners to do so, How do I remove the burners? 2. My burners seem to have a brass "special or unusual shaped " nut in the center of the burner how is this removed? Does it require a special adaptor to remove it? If so what is the part number for the adaptor? Thanks

ANSWER Hi. Remove the power and shut the gas valve off. Remove the burner grates and burner caps. Use a 25/32" (20mm) socket, unscrew and remove the venturi from the burner base and remove the base from the spill tray. Use a sharp knife to cut the sealant around the outside of the trays or pry the aluminum strips from around the "seal" areas of the tray. Serial # prior to 9605 have the spill trays secured to the sides used black sealer kit part # 368426. This kit contains the older style spill tray not interchangeable with the new ones and a tube of sealant. Serial # 's starting with 9605 use aluminum strips to hold them in place. To remove the spark ignitor, lift the spill trays and disconnect the wire from the connector, Then unsnap the e-ring from the ignitor and remove it. Ignitor part # 189324. Thank
