Had error code u43 with a intermittent beep. Now, the error is u60 cooling fan. "Door engaged" constantly flashes. Lower oven works but the light comes on and off at will. This was installed in 2006. Will one of your parts fix this? Can I install it myself? thank you
ANSWER Hello Chris,
The fault code is indicating a bad connection on S19 or a bad relay board. You should verify that the connections are proper on S19 (double line break relay). If securing the connections at S19 doesn't restore normal operation, replace the relay board. The second fault code indicates that a cooling fan has failed, which can also be caused by a bad board. Note that a fault code beginning with a "u" is an upper oven fault. If a fault code ever comes up for the lower oven, it will be preceded by a "L".
