We recently had a power failure. When the power was restored it fluctuated for several hours. My ice maker quit making ice after this. My brother in law removed the ice from the ice bin when the power went out. I don't know if anything could have been damaged when he removed the ice bin or if the problem was due to the fluctuating power?
ANSWER Hello Edwina,
The first thing that you may want to check is what location are the icemaker fingers. If the fingers on the icemaker are in the down position then you want to remove icemaker and clean ice out. After you clear the icemaker allow it to try to cycle and see if it works. If not then you would need new icemaker 5303918344.
