We have a loud roaring noise, I have replaced the rear drum bearing & front felt, & a new motor. noise is still there. removed the belt so motor & wheel runs only still hear noise. removed motor & run motor by it self & noise stop. Put motor & wheel back together & spin with hand, wheel not hitting anything ? but when I cut it on the noise is back.
Check to make sure that the blower wheel is not broken in any place and that it is clean of any lint. Also when you pull the cover off the blower housing and run then motor check to see if the blower wheel is wobbling. The issue will either be a broken or clogged blower wheel or bad motor.
