On exploded parts drawing, I am inquiring about part number 32 which is your P/N AP4365923. This part is the bearing assembly that supports the dryer tub.
I have ordered the heater assembly from your company. As shown from the drawing, the bearing shaft goes through the center of the heater. In order to
change the heater, I need to remove the shaft. I need advice on how to remove the shaft and mounting flange.
ANSWER Hello William. The bearing 131777700 is mounted to the back of the drum. It does not need to be removed to replace the heater 131475320. When you lift up on the drum and remove the drum from the cabinet, the bearing is attached to the back of the drum. Hope this helps.
