Hi, I am trying to take off the water filter housing in side the fridge. I took off the four philips head screws but cannot unscrew the large screw behind the air filter housing. How can i release that screw? I do not recognize the type.
I am trying to replace the water filter base because i am not getting any water through dispenser. Thanks

ANSWER Hi Steve. Try disconnecting the water line connection under the freezer door. The John guess fitting has round release clips at each end. Press them in as you pull out the lines. Then put the fridge tubing in a deep pan and command for water now. Has the water tank frozen part # 241532006 behind the crisper drawers? Remove it and thaw it slowly in a warm sink water. Set both controls mid way as freezer air can migrate from the bottom of the freezer and back through the air rtn. which is a fixed oval grill. Examine all of this. As far as the large screw, use a plastic putty knife in between the cabinet wall and the housing part # 241755201. Apply light outward pressure as you are removing the long screw. Thank You.
