What does the Block-meat pan rail-lh do? I just received the new left and right hand rails from you and while replacing them found this spring loaded block so I just transferred it to the new parts but can't figure out what it supposed to do?

ANSWER Hi Todd. The part # 240349901 connects to the side of the fresh food cabinet interior. Then the lt. side rail L-end inserts into it. In case yours is broken. Thank You.
