I turn on the dishwasher and it fills with water. But it does not start washing. I hit cancel and it drains. Why dont it start up washing. I had a man look at it and he said it was prolly a bad board. What part should I order from you guys? No codes show up on display.
ANSWER Hello Tim,
It may be that the unit is in a heating mode. If the water temperature is not above 120 degrees coming into unit the unit will heat water to bring up to temp. You can check this by doing a voltage check on the heater after it fills. If you are getting 120 vac at the heater then the unit is in a heating stage. If your water temp is too low the unit will not go into wash cycle. If the heater is not on then do a voltage check of the motor and see if you are getting 120 vac to the motor. If not then you either have bad wiring or bad board. Visually check the wiring and if checks ok then replace control board 154757002. For the water issue always make sure you purge hot water at the sink before starting dishwasher.
