I´m a technician and the kitchen is not working, it doesn´t turn on, I alreday checked the elements and they are fine but I´m not sure if it is the board that is damaged, I studied the diagram for this kitchen but I am not quiet sure about the voltages it handles.
Could you help me to know more about this board, what is its function and how do I make sure it is working properly or not?
ANSWER Hello Livvy. There should be 120 volts AC to the board and 120 volts AC to the element so when the element is turned on, it makes up the 240 volts to the element here in the USA. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
