I also have a kitchenaide dishwasher that leaks at the bottom of both sides of the door. I did replace the gasket around the tub but now it leaks more than it did before. Could I have received the wrong part or is there something else that could have been bad also? I did follow your instructions for the ice maker and it will need a new auger motor. I will order it once I find out the answer to my other question also. Thanks,
ANSWER Kate, did you order and receive [W10112096] , if so you have the correct part number. Now what you need to check is the lower wash arm assembly for debris and possible cracks in the arms, causing water to be directed at the bottom of the door. Check and make sure the dishwasher is not overfilling due to a sticky float or fill valve(the water level after the 5 minute fill and wash, should not be above the bottom edge of the tub door opening). and check the door hinges and door hinge pins on the frame for possibly being bent or distorted.
Thanks and Good Luck
