I am considering ordering a new control board for my fridge. The front panel LED's and switches do not work any more. The filter will not reset to green (new filter installed). I'm not sure if I need a power board as the led over the cubed ice selection is on (cannot change to crushed) and the led over the water comes on as red when dispensing water. Short of these problems I've looked at where to start to replace these parts and need an instructions on how to accomplish replacement also.

ANSWER Hello Paul. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board 241708303 is bad and will need to be replaced in the dispenser. You will remove the screws securing the bottom of the front cover 241678703 after the power has been disconnected. Then lift the front cover off the door. Now you can access and replace the control board on the unit.
