Both the top and bottom oven have stopped working. The bottom oven will heat, but will not maintain proper temp. We replaced the control panel and nothing changed. What should be our next step.
ANSWER Hello Brett. Make sure both elements are working in the lower oven. If so, you may have a bad temp sensor 316490001 in the lower oven. If nothing is working on the top oven, you will need to check and make sure the thermal switch 318004900 is not tripped on the unit. If you press in on the red button, and it clicks, it was tripped. Also, it should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html If it is good, you will test for power from the relay board. If there is no power going to the elements from the board, replace the relay board on the unit.
