I show that this item has been replaced by the manufacturer and this newer item does not fit the recepticle. The harness for this item does not fit my recepticle. Is there anyway to make it fit or another way of installing the new part?

ANSWER Hello John,
Based on the information provided the control board 241739712 is the correct board. When they made a change they flipped the connector over. Tab for harness should be on bottom of board.
