How does one go about replacing this part? I noticed the door didn't want to close very tightly and the dryer wouldn't start if this contact is not made. This part had somehow bent to the point that it folded through the opening. I had to dig it out with a screwdriver so I could close the door and dry my clothes. Just want to make sure I know the proper installation procedures so I do not damage the replacement part.
ANSWER Hello Griff. If you already have the old catch removed, the new catch 131658800 just presses into the square hole and locks into place. It does take a little pressure to snap it into place. Hope this helps.
