I was directed to Door Latch and Door Strike pages from a chat conversation. I don't know if it is the Latch or the Strike preventing the door from closing. Is this a DIY install by a 73 year young female?
ANSWER Eleanor,The door catch 131658800 and the strike 5303207102 are pretty easy to work with, you need a pair of "needle nose" pliers and or a small flat blade screwdriver. Just be careful, so you don't damage the paint. Once you have the damaged part out using the pliers to remove it from the panel, the new part pretty much presses into place. It sure sounds like you could handle it. Good Luck and Thanks
