my dishes are not getting clean and the dishwasher sounds like it wants to go into outspace at the beginning of the cycle. It is suppose to be "quiet".
There is a garbage disposal there too.

You will want to check to make sure that there nothing in the pump assembly that would be causing noise and causing the dishes to not be clean. If there is nothing in the pump assembly then you would want to replace the pump.
