I have a sears stove that I am wondering what might could be the problem.everything on the stove works except the bake unit, there is no voltage going to the bake unit, and unit has continuity through it.
ANSWER Roger, you'll need to, turn power off or unplug the power cord, slide the range out, remove both th upper and lower rear cover panels to access the control and the lower wiring harness to the ellements and check the wiring for damage, burnt, broken or loose connections first.
If all's OK you'll need to consider a new control 316207511 or check for the 120 VAC out of the control on the "BK" and the "L2" terminal of the control, with the wires disconnected and the range in a bake mode, with a temperature selected, with a multimeter. Here's some meter usage information should you need it,:[ http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] Good Luck and Thanks
