I have a gas oven that is 50 degrees off when cooking at 350 had an appliance guy come out and he said i need a new probe and he would reccomend replacing the main panel also. Would I be better served to just replace the probe and the wire going to the panel as i am having no other problems with the stove other than its temperature issue? If that doesn't fix it than replace the panel at that time. Thanks Dave.
ANSWER Hello Dave. Yes, start with the probe, and if the issue continues, then replace the control board. No need to replace both parts.
