If I am replacing the clock timer, do I also need the overlay. I found what looked like a burn mark when I removed one the of connections on the clock timer, and I was told that this is the problem as to why my oven won't heat. I had both elements checked for continuity.
ANSWER Hello Kelly. If you do not order the overlay, sometimes the old one will not peel off and will tear and you will have to order it anyway. It is best to replace the overlay 316419112 on the unit.
