The power was on and we tried to bake something. After a couple of minutes after turning on the range, I heard like a "boom" sound and a flame came out from the rear/top side of the range. After that, we turned it off and after it cooled down, I open the backside of the range. Everything seemed ok and there is nothing wrong with the installation, but I found when I took out the electronic oven control, there is on the corner, where are 2 white colored relays, sign of the smoke and it a little bit burned on the board, right next to the first white relay. Everything else works good but the bake element does not work. The fuse is ok. I need your help on what I need to replace to make it work. Thank you.
ANSWER Hello Mike. Based on the information you provided, the control board is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit.
