Oven quit cooking evenly. Burnt on the bottom and uncooked on top. Per owners manual, should cycle power between bake and broil elements in bake mode. Checked broil element for continuity, good. Replaced clock/timer assy 316557115. Did not fix issue. Checked with multimeter during cycling. Stays on bake element for pre-heat until full temp is reached. When cycling, only cycles to broil element for two seconds and immediately cycles off. Goes back to lower element. Do I have a defective replacement clock/timer? In desperation, I have now replaced the temp sensor and broil element. Same issue. Is there an adjustment for this cycle time? Oven used to work perfectly.
ANSWER Hello Jim,
You may want to check your wiring to ensure that you are getting continuity through your wires. Check from the clock to broil element output on control to broil element. Check from broil element back to terminal block. You have already changed the broil element and the clock assembly which would be the first things to check.
