It says F1 on panel. I tried turning main power off and it comes back . Someone told me it means the board is bad. You guys have 1 in stock. would it work if i purchaesd that.
The F1 error code indicates that there was a runaway temperature. You will want to test the oven sensor 316134900 for resistance. The resistance at room temp of 77 degrees should be approximately 1100 ohms. If not within range then the sensor would need to be replaced. If the sensor checks ok then you will want to test the wires from sensor to the clock to ensure that there are no broken or damaged wires. If the wires check ok then the Clock 316127903 would need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
