I purchased the compressor 5304476642 with the filter drier I changed it out I have license. I cannot get it to cool enought and the compressors gets hot. I went from r12 system to this compressor r134a It will not cool. There is not blockage in the system. The captube is open. I thinks the compressor is not strong enough. High side around 75 psig, low side 25psig. If I lower the pressure it gets warmer inside the freezer. It won't cool below 70 degress.

Bill for Model Number FPCI21tfl1

ANSWER Hi Bill. You need to use a sniffer tool to sense if there are any minute leaks. Are you getting a full frost pattern across the evaporator coils? Most likely not. Taking consideration of the info. supplied...,use a volt / ohm meter to ohm the compressor windings. Make sure also the individual pins are not shorted to ground. From one side of the common and "s" in you will get 4-6ohms. Then on the other c- to -r pin you will get 4-8 ohms. These 2 test added together will give a total value. Now ohm out both s and r terminals to see if they added up to the total value of the last test. If it is shorted or- opened then it needs replaced. Question?- When you first opened the system was there any black oil /freon that had bursted out ? If so then the complete system needed to be flushed out until it is completely. It sounds like a low charge. Thank You.
