My Fridge was making a lot more noise while running than I thought it should. I bought it 11/2010. The noisyness was coming from the freezer. It would cycle on and off during the day and night, but when it cycled on it was noisy. I removed all the food from the freezer, wiped it out and put back what I wanted to keep. Now 3 days later the fridge and freezer are not cooling. What could be the problem? The lights are on, but, nobody is home :)

ANSWER ACCT41T, You could hve a defrost issue, since the noise seems to be from the freezer compartment. If it's making the noise, or next time it does, check the freezer back wall for a heavy frost or ice build up. The evaporator fan blade could be in contact with the ice build up on the evaporator. After enough time there could be a big enough build up the stop the fan from turning. Thanks and Good Luck
