Washer is displaying error code E20. What does this refer to?
ANSWER Hello Ed. The E20 error code is usually something clogging the pump system follow these steps to check.
From the bottom and back panel you can access the drain hose/pump/coin catch. With a pair of pliers you can remove the clamp holding smaller end of the rubber coin catch to the tub, with a Phillips screw driver you can remove the larger clamp of the rubber coin catch to the tub. From the back panel you again use your pliers to remove the clamp to the drain line, and finally with a Philips screw driver remove the two screws holding the pump to the bottom of the washer. Oh yes, do not forget to unplug the wire from the pump. Now pull the pump out with the black rubber boot still attached. Mark the orientation of the pump to the boot with a sharpie pen, and remove the last clamp. Now look inside the black rubber boot and gently remove the plastic basket inside and remove any thing that does not belong, reassemble ant test.
