Refrigerator, on the fridge side, was freezing. The damper door was wide open. I turned the thermostat (switch for temp control) all the way to 0 and the damper door shut...I turned it back to the highest setting and waited a day but the damper door never opened back up, so I had to take it loose from the inside of fridge to let the cold air come thru from the freezer side to cool the fridge side. Is there anything I can test to "zero in" on the defective part? I hate to buy the 5304482075 kit if it is one of the components that is bad. Thanks for your help
ANSWER Hello Mark. Sorry, but based on the information you provided, and your model number, you will need to order the control box kit 5304482075 to repair the unit.
