How do you remove and replace defrost heater?

ANSWER Hello Uriah. Remove the back wall out of the freezer and access the coils. Make sure the power is disconnected from the unit. Unplug the wires for the heater and remove any ice on the evaporator coils. Next, remove the clips securing the heater to the evaporator coils and pull the bottom of the coils forward slightly. Now slide the heater assembly out of the coils in the freezer. Install the new heater 218657301 in reverse order.
