The drain pan in the bottom of the freezer keeps freezing. Also the Shroud & gasket (AP3773763) above the evaporator builds up ice until the fan blade hits the ice and makes ALOT of noise! Water freezes in the bottom and sometimes runs out the front of the refridgerator freezer door. The condensor DOES NOT build up ice, it is ice free when I disassemble it. I thought it could be the defrost heater (AP2150169) but it measure ~24ohms and draws 118mA AC when active. The defrost thermostat measures about 0.5 ohms when cold. Any idea on what to check next? I am stumped at this point! It takes several weeks for it to start freezing up again. Thanks in advance.
ANSWER Hello Matt. Clean out the drain with a hose and make sure it is clear. Also, make sure the icemaker is not leaking and causing the issue and the door gasket is not letting in warm outside air.
