I purchased the defrost timer because my evap fan motor was running non-stop. That didn't help. I'm thinking the thermostat defrost is the problem. I don't know where it's located from the diagram of the systems components on my model. Can you tell me if I need to remove the panel with the evap fan motor in the freezer to find it? Can I return the defrost timer I bought and didn't need? Appreciate your response.
ANSWER John, the defrost thermostat is part number 5303917954. You'll need to remove the freezer back panel to gain access to the defrost thermostat. You may return any part with our company up to 365 days of purchase. Please see the following link to view our no hassle return policy. Hope this helps you, thanks. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/customerservice/returns.aspx
